#Padma #BabyElephant #KapilashElephantRescueCentre <br /><br />The female elephant calf named Padma, rescued from Chikiti in Ganjam district got a new home and family. Padma has been shifted to the Kapilash Elephant Rescue Centre at Dhenkanal after it was rescued following its separation from its herd. <br /><br />As per the Forest Department, the elephant calf is doing well and will be allowed to live with the other rescued elephants at the centre.<br /><br />The rescued calf’s blood sample was earlier sent to Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT) for tests and as per the results, Padma is in healthy condition. <br />________________________________________________________<br />OdishaTV is Odisha's no 1 News Channel.
